Chris Jasso

On Friday, October 27th, around 2:30PM, Chris was involved in a three car accident in which he and his girlfriend Emily were seriously injured. Chris was driving, and he was making a legal left hand turn in a four-way intersection when a driver in an SUV ran their stop sign and into the passenger side of Chris's vehicle. They were hit so hard that they were forced into another car on the driver side of the vehicle.

Bystanders called 911, and thankfully, the ambulance made it to the accident in under two minutes. Chris and Emily were both taken to the hospital right away. Chris had sustained multiple injuries to his head, face and back. Chris was evaluated in the emergency room for several hours where they determined he had multiple fractures on his skull, the left side of his jaw was broken, he is deaf in his left ear, he lost part of a tooth, he had an extremely severe concussion, and his lower back was in severe pain making it hard to sit upright or walk. Chris also remembers most everything immediately after the accident, and so Chris is experiencing emotional trauma as well as physical trauma.

Chris remained in the hospital for several days until he was discharged and sent home. He is still in a lot of pain, but getting better everyday. We are awaiting the police investigation to conclude in order get all of the details on the person who caused the accident, but what we know is that he does not have insurance. While Chris does have some insurances, there is no way it will be able to cover the medical bills inevitably coming his way. In addition to the medical bills, Chris's car was totaled, and his ability to work may be limited over the next couple months.
