On June 14, 2007 heaven welcomed an angel in the form of Chris Johnson, a Northside High School Eagles football player in Warner Robins, GA, who bravely lost his two-year battle with leukemia at the young age of 17. Chris's death touched the lives of the entire community, and in his memory our family established the "Chris Johnson Scholarship Fund.”
The purpose of the scholarship is to assist with college expenses by awarding a scholarship annually to a graduating senior scholar athlete. This scholarship fund has operated for the past 15 years solely through personal monetary donations by family and friends.
