Chris Kagay Memorial Fund

We are all shocked and heartbroken by the sudden passing of our beloved friend Chris on Monday, January 2nd, 2023 after a short battle with brain cancer. Chris leaves behind his loving wife Sarah, their two amazing children, Wilder and Eleanor, and his beloved and very energetic dog, Lio. As we all know, Chris’ love for his family (and Lio!) knew no bounds.

Chris was smart, funny, kind, warm and incredibly humble. He touched the lives of countless people near and far and he leaves behind a broad community of friends across the country. He was one of a kind and we are all utterly devastated to lose him.

May we all live as well as Chris lived, and may we all touch as many lives and impact the world as profoundly as Chris did.

We have received countless queries from people asking what they can do for Chris’ family. We thought one approach would be setting up this GoFundMe page to help Sarah finance Wilder and Eleanor's education going forward. As we all know, Chris’ kids meant everything to him.
