Chris McKeon, you will be missed!!

Hello everyone,

As many of you know, Chris McKeon, a long-time employee and friend to many at Driftwood Beach, has passed away. We have created this collection to show support to his wife Amy and his son Christopher during this extremely confusing and difficult time; it is our hope that this will help them as they deal with the very significant loss of their husband and father.

Chris was very much a Driftwood Beach man! He loved his job, took great pride in his work and abilities and would do everything he could everyday to make sure he got things taken care of. Always looking for the next task, repair or conversation, Chris was a cornerstone at Driftwood Beach for 8 years and was very attached to the park. He frequently called himself a "lifer", demonstrating his love for the park and the people. He will certainly be celebrated and remembered in our park and in our lives.

Chris was a fantastic human with a giant heart and took nothing lightly; he was a dedicated family man and friend. Chris struggled with his illness this past Winter and sadly passed this Spring. I know there are many people that will be surprised by this information but as sad as it is, we can do something positive from an unfortunate situation by showing how important and appreciated he was.
