Chris Neff Family Fund

Chris Neff is stationed at Coast Guard Air Station Elizabeth City, NC.  Recently, his brother, Marc Knisely, passed away unexpectedly.   Marc, a single father, left behind his 13 year old son, Jonathan.  Unfortunately, no financial care plan was in place for Jonathan. Marc did, however, make it clear that he wanted Chris and his wife to gain custody of Jonathan in the event of his death.

In honoring his brother's wishes, Chris is currently in the legal process of gaining custody of Jonathan.  Chris and his wife are the parents of two small children of their own and are experiencing severe financial hardship associated with the legal fees required for adoption and travel to/from Florida, where Jonathan currently resides.  Time is of the essence in this case, as Jonathan has expressed his desire to enroll in school immediately, a feat that cannot be accomplished without a custody determination.

This child and Chris' family have experienced such tragedy over the last week and your contribution would help to relieve their immediate need and start this family on the track of welcoming Jonathan into their home.   Please work with the Coast Guard Enlisted Association -  Elizabeth City Branch to give this family a very merry Christmas.
