Chris Owens needs help battling skin cancer.

As most of you know Chris Owens is our beloved friend who dedicates his life to surf big waves and to paddle from island to island. Chris is going through some hard times due to his skin cancer battle. Last week he was faced with 3 surgeries in a row and he will be out of work for a while. I put together this Gofundme to try to help him raise some money for his bills for October and November until he starts working again. These are his own words about his condition.

On Wednesday Oct. 18,My dermatologist performed Mohs surgery for invasive skin cancer removal on my left eyelid . The next day, I was put to sleep with anesthesia and my eye specialist performed reconstructive surgery on my lower eyelid for the deep skin cancer wound and also did an ectropion eye surgery during the same operation, that required a number of stitches. I never knew how severe this operation would be until Wednesday morning ,my dermatologist drew a 1/2 inch size circular outline from my eyelashes down of what she was removing .To make things short,,it the most agonizing operation of my life .The second day operation ,all I remember is waking up instantly with my eye specialist doctor telling me it went well. She quickly went over her orders : keep it as clean as possible, stay inside ,no work, no exercising for 3 weeks or longer and no surfing until she says its okay ,because skin grafts on a eyelid that is always moving can come apart easy and if that happens its a serious problem.....I'm asking for help financially through this careful healing process to help pay for bare necessities : ,rent ,bills and food ,to help me properly heal....
