Christopher James Salazar passed away unexpectedly May 10, 2021 at the age of 32. Chris is survived by his wife, Leslie Salazar, his children, Mia, Caleb, Caiden, Chris Jr., and Lia, his parents, Jaime Salazar and Mary Brown, his siblings, Jaime, M'Lenna, and Adrian, as well as a niece, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, two grandmothers, and close friends.
Chris was born on April 9, 1989 in San Angelo, Texas. As the eldest of the "Salazar Tribe," you would always find him bossing around his three younger siblings or coming up with strange concoctions in the kitchen such as Bologna Pizza, a slice of bologna with ketchup poured on top.
Like most teenagers, Christopher gave his parents hell. Whether skipping school to hang out with Leslie or other things we don't want to spill the beans on, the second he earned the title of "Daddy," he turned his life around. He dedicated his life to making sure Leslie and the kids were well provided for and loved. Nothing else could make his parents more proud of him.
Anyone who knew Chris knew he was a hard-working, loving teddy bear with a giver's heart. He had an immense passion for family, especially for his wife and children. Christopher's family and friends will miss him more than words can say.
The visitation is scheduled for May 13th from 2:00-5:00 p.m. There will be a funeral service held at 12:00 p.m., May 14th at Restland Funeral Home & Cemetery. Contributions in memory of Chris can be made to this gofundme
