Chris Salomone was called to be with God and he accepted that call without hesitation. Chris was the most loving husband and father to his wife Phyllis and his children, Christopher and Amanda. Chris was a motor cop with the City of New Smyrna Beach until he retired. During his time of service, he was always one of the most pleasant officers and was liked by everyone he ever met.
During his life, Chris was called by God and became an ordained minister/pastor. He performed marriage ceremonies for many family and friends, guiding the couples into long-lasting, loving marriages. He truly was a man of God.
Aside from his family, Chris’ biggest passion was playing the Banjo. He would play in a band, with friends, or alone at home. He had a talent like no other.
In his younger years, Chris and his brother would enjoy building motorcycles and choppers. He became an avid motorcycle enthusiast and would win many competitions while on the police force.
Chris also enjoyed hunting and was part of a hunting club. He would take his son Christopher on hunting trips, enjoying some father-and-son time.
Chris was loved by so many and always seemed to light up a room when he would walk in with his famous words, “Hey Man."
Sadly, Chris was way too young to be taken from his wife, children, and family but God seemed to have other plans. He will truly be missed by all. Chris was an organ donor and will be giving life to many in need. As a result, he was honored with a legacy walk. Chris was truly a great man!
Please help Chris' wife Phyllis and children, Christopher and Amanda with whatever they may need and donate what you can. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
