Chris Sheeler

Hi: This is Julia Taylor. Chris Sheeler, our loyal night security guard, is in the hospital. He has been diagnosed with Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia, which fortunately has a high remission and curability probability. However, the next few months will be rough as he gets treatment and undergoes chemo and antibody treatments. He will remain in the hospital for at least a month and will need to remain off work for a few months after that.

Without being able to work, Chris won't be able to pay his monthly expenses, including his car and mortgage payments. He is still waiting to hear if his VA will cover his medical expenses, so there could be some medical bills to cover as well.

Chris has provided dedicated service to 919 for close to 12 years in various capacities, and many of you have gotten to know him personally. If you are able to contribute in any way, please help us raise some money to assist him by forwarding this email to anyone who knows him. He needs to concentrate on getting better, and not paying his bills, so we want to help him with this.
