Chris Smith: Notre Dame Football

I am Jon Autry, former teammate and lifelong friend of Chris Smith - man of faith, father, former Kansas City Chief and member of the Fighting Irish Notre Dame football team. Chris suffered a fall on April 4 that caused significant trauma to his spinal cord. While we are praying for a full recovery from the resulting paralysis to his limbs (both arms and legs), Chris is fighting with all the strength, spirit and positivity we have come to expect of this amazing man to regain his mobility.

This is not the journey any of us could imagine for our lives, but it has happened to Chris and his family. His recovery, whatever that looks like, will be long and expensive.

While Chris does the work, I have established this GoFundMe page to help with the costs of his care, and as a way to update you on Chris’ progress.
