Chris & Tara Mickle & Family

On Wednesday December 11th my good friend Chris Mickle suffered a stroke and is now recovering in hospital for an undetermined period of time.  He is the owner of Nola's A Taste of New Orleans. Chris is a fighter and working very hard on his recovery,  so it's important that his loved ones, especially his wife Tara and children, August and Madison are able to be by his side during this time of healing. 

We are asking for any donation you are able to give to help support Chris, Tara and his children during this difficult time in their lives.   Chris will be undergoing several months of therapy and rehab before he is able to get back to continuing his dream and his passion for so many years.  He is determined, strong, passionate and not the least of which, a stubborn Irishman!  We have no doubt he will continue to fight through this every day and continue to get stronger. Anything you are able to donate would be very much appreciated by Chris and his family.  We are hopeful that this campaign will alleviate some of Tara's financial burden so she can be by Chris's side with minimal stress and help in his recovery. 

We will be holding an open house style fundraiser at Karma Wine Bar, 12205 Riverside Drive East on Sunday January 19th from 3pm to 10pm. Tickets are $20 a person and include appetizers.  There will be a silent auction and door prizes. All proceeds will go to Tara Mickle & Family.  Would love to see you there!
