Chris Wardle's Montana Livestock Guard Dog Rescue
My name is Chris Wardle, I live on 22 acres in Bozeman Montana. We have created a sanctuary for herding and ranch dogs that have been abused, neglected, abandoned, placed in shelters or simply surrendered because they are not a good fit. We have dedicated much of our acreage to fenced pastures where Livestock guardians can decompress, be inside the home to understand cruelty, cold, wet or hot isn't the only way to live. We consider ourselves a temporary sanctuary where traumatized dogs can regain strength, trust and their well being. We socialize, train, love and make these dogs feel safe and needed. We care for their medical needs, get them spayed or neutered and take care of their emotional needs until they are ready to go to a proper situation which could be a farm, ranch or caring home. Food and miscellaneous items to build dog shelters or do additional fencing is also appreciated. We invest so much of ourselves seven days a week and countless dollars each month ensuring their safety and care. If you could find it in your heart to help us to add an outbuilding and some additional food supplies, we would be very grateful. Most dogs that arrive are in danger of being euthanized or have been neglected. Thank you in advance for any little bit you can afford to give.
