Chris Woodard's Fight

As you may by now know,  our wonderful and fiesty mom,  Chris, has Stage 4 Cancer. She has already beaten cancer once, when it attacked her rectum, unfortunately,  now it is going to be a tougher challenge as it has infected her vaginal wall, uterus, and part of her chest. 

We know our mom can defeat this horrible disease, especially with the love & support of her family and friends. You know her as a caring and loving person, a grandmother, a mom, a wife, a sister, an aunt, a friend and a gracious volunteer and animal rescuer.   She has always been there for those who are in need.  Now is the time we would like for you to help show her the love she has shown us all. 

This disagonsis has come about very quickly.  According to the Mayo Clinic, she is in for one heck of a fight.  While her family and friends are lining up to fight this disease with her, we know that the physcial effort is only part of the battle. 

As you all know, unfortunately, it takes lots of money as well with all the medical procedures, nutritional costs, "in-home" care, travel expenses, etc.  We realize its going to be very expensive.  And, while the family is fully dedicated to give her all that they have, we know we will need help. 

She will need to adjust her lifestyle to fight this and to remain healthy while doing so. If each of us can contribute anything they may have, we can help her through this fight. 

We know that we have only one shot at this.  We will all give Chris the chance she needs to win this battle. Please help anyway you can, we humbly accept it.
