Chris Worley and Family

Donation protected
Chris and Karin and their son could use our community help. They own and work Nor Cal Junk Haul locally in Lake County and Chris has been in the ICU for over a week. This has caused significant financial stress as they've not been able to work and Chris likely won't be able to for some time.
Karin runs a Facebook page that many folks utilize (Kelseyville Community Information) and they are super community oriented so I am hoping we can show them some love and support in these hard and scary times they're experiencing. Even donating $5 will help alleviate some financial stress so Karin can focus on her son and helping her husband through this.
Below is her latest FB update.
Thank you for considering helping this family!

UPDATE 10/17
Update on Chris:
He came home yesterday! His WBC was low enough that they released him after 23 days in hospital. He was ready. He will have a nurse visit him weekly at home, not sure how many times per week yet. He finally gets to get some much needed rest, as being in the hospital you are constantly being monitored. He still is week and will be unable to go anywhere for at least another few weeks. He definitely won't be able to work for a couple of months. And he will be having to go BACK to hospital to have everything put back to normal in 2-3 months. And that will be another weeks stay. For those who don't know, Chris had severe diverticulitis which almost went thru his colon and 2 abscesses in his sigmoid colon. They removed about 12" of diseased colon and he now has an ileostomy. Chris had been in pain for many, many months. Until finally he went to ER. We are grateful for the community helping us with the GO FUND ME. I was hesitant at first but its been helping us greatly. SO again, thank you Caitlin <3

UPDATE ON CHRIS (10.6):
No surgery today. They thought his abdominal wall was constricting his intestine, but now they believe it's not. After being on a nothing diet for days, Chris finally got to eat some food today to see how his digestive track works, IF it will work. So he ate a little bit here and there, scared of course that it wont put him in pain again. He did another contrast CT scan and I guess we will find out results tomorrow. His white blood cell count is still very very high and they are wondering if he has another abcess somewhere in his intestines. Over the course of 7 days, 7 DAYS! He has lost 22 lbs. I have to be strong but sometimes I just completely lose it. I brought Jeremiah in today and Chris' face just totally lit up. He cried, happy tears. He so wants to come home. Being in ICU for so long wears on you. The constant blood work, medicine hookup, checking in on you every couple hours, lack of sleep...it has taken a huge toll on Chris. He is so weak, but knows he must get up to walk to improve. Lots of people are praying for you Chris. We need you to heal and come home.
