Chris's Bump in the Road

As many of you know on March 1, 2019 Chris and Jennifer received the news of his diagnosis. On this day there life changed forever, hearing Chris has been diagnosed with Esophageal cancer. Chris was admitted to Ajax hospital prior to the diagnosis for his trouble with keeping any food down. Through further testing, a large tumor was found, 100% blocking his Esophagus, which they now know is Esophageal cancer. Chris spent 3 weeks in the hospital with the doctors help to regain his strength. He is currently home in Jennifer's care on a feeding tube, this is strain on them financially as Chris is unable to work, Jennifer can only work limited hours due to his care and appointments. Chemo and radiation is scheduled to start tomorrow (March 27, 2019) this is everyday for 5 weeks, a very aggressive treatment plan in hopes to shrink the cancer.
I am asking for help for the both of them to get them through these next few months, the expense of treatments, medicine, supplies etc, is allot. (without insurance)
A personal message on what they both mean to me, and I am sure the same is true for allot of us. Jennifer has been my best friend for almost 40 years, It may have took her to her late 30's to meet the man of her dreams, but it has happened, they are a perfect match for each other. from the time I met Chris about 6 years ago, I knew they were perfect for each other. Chris is the most kind, caring person. He helped me when I was in need at several times in my life. Jennifer has always been there for me over these almost 40 years, there isn't anything she wouldn't do for me, at this time all I can do is offer support and ask all there friends and family to do the same.
Let's pull together and remove some of the financial stress off them, let's show them how much we are all wishing for a full recovery in this difficult time.
Chris and Jennifer have dreams they would like to see happen, in due time, for now lets get him healthy again so he can fulfill his dream of getting back to his trailer sitting on the deck with Jennifer & Banjo, sipping on his rum.
It doesn't take allot to make a difference in life, let's make a difference to 2 people who would do it for anyone of us.
