Generator needed for ALS patient
Donation protected
Hello....my name is Cynthia McAuley & I am the proud sister of Christopher Joseph Batrano. My brave brother is 48 & an ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) patient. He is a very special person as he has adapted to his disease for almost 20 years when the average life expectancy is 2 to 5 years. We are so fortunate that God has given Chris the longevity all ALS patients & family only dream of having. Chris lives at home on a ventilator & suction full time, 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
We are asking for your help in purchasing a natural gas generator for Chris. Currently, when the power goes out, the ventilator has a three hour battery life. However the suction has no back up power at all. Because of this, an ambulance must be called & Chris is transported to the ER to survive. With the onetime expense of a natural gas generator, Chris could safely stay in his home with his family during a power outage.
We have received two quotes for a natural gas generator & the electrical installation of the generator. We are sincerely asking for the public’s support in assisting with this purchase before we transition further into colder weather & the possibility of an ice storm. Any & all help is appreciated. Each contribution is a gift to Chris.
If you have questions, please feel free to email me anytime. My brother is absolutely amazing & this gift of a natural gas generator would save Chris’s life & bring peace of mind for all of us! God Bless & Merry Christmas!!
