Chris Deblasio Cancer Fund

Chris Deblasio is a bright, talented and genuine twenty-two year old from Montvale, New Jersey. He lives with his two parents, John and Sue, has two older sisters, Dee and Jenny , and a brother-in-law Rocco. He is the God Parent to Jen and Rocco's son, Michael who is 9 months old. He went to Paramus Catholic high school and played baseball there. He is currently enrolled in NJIT's Construction Management program and will be an up and coming senior. This summer, Chris interned at Let It Grow, a large Landscape and Construction company in River Edge, NJ. 

Unfortunately his internship ended half way into the summer. Chris started loosing his sight (double vision and blurriness) as well as his hearing (all white noise and loud ringing in his ears). When he was taken to the hospital, he was diagnosed with hydrocephalus, which is a build up of the cerebral spinal fluid in the cavities of the brain. With that came his tumor. His tumor is known as an intracranial germinoma, an extremely rare tumor that is a build up of germ cells in the pineal region of the brain. With this came three brain surgeries, a shunt put in place to properly drain the fluid, and now he is currently going through six rounds of chemotherapy. 

We hope for a speedy recovery and we ask you to keep him in your thoughts and prayers while he fights this terrible disease. For those of you who know Chris, you know that he is extremely kind, selfless, fun, honest, intelligent, hard working and generous.
