Chris has been battling cancer since 2013.  Sclerosing epithelioid fibrosarcoma cancer is very rare and there is no known successful treatment plan.

To date he has had :

The original tumor removed from his neck, followed by radiation and the hardest chemo they can give you.

At the beginning of 2016, the scans showed nodules in his lungs that were growing and multiplying.  We made an expensive trip to MD Anderson to seek their advice and was told that surgery was the best option.  Chemo and radiation are not effective against this kind of cancer.

He had surgery on his right lung at the end of April 2016, recovered from that and then had surgery on his left lung at the end of June 2016.   They removed 7 nodules from each side (total 14) and 4 nodules on each side  (total of 8) were confirmed cancer.    With the scans from December 2017 showing 4 nodules (2 on each side) and the largest reaching a full cm.

We are doing two more surgeries, the first one January 10th, 2018 on the left side and the next one Feb 13th, 2018 on the right.  The first surgery removed the two nodules that showed up on film and also (just by chance) there was two extra for a total of four and ALL of them were cancer.

Chris has spent his life trying to provide for his family.  He spent some time in the Air Force  and then transitioned into a career of Radio/Broadcast Engineering.  He was on call 24/7 almost all the time and even managed to squeeze in a 2yr degree while working and being on call (with a very high grade average to boot).

We lost our 16yo son on August 2015 in the middle of all this cancer mess.

The time has come for Chris to quit work and focus on fighting this cancer.  There is no cure, but maybe he can make it until there is one.

Please help us out.  I would like for what could be his last days to be free of worry about bills.
