Help Us Win vs. Lung Cancer

THEIR STORY
In September 2015, days after returning from their honeymoon, Chris was diagnosed with advanced stage lung cancer.  Since then, he and his wife Emma have focused solely on getting better.  They've had good days and bad days, good news and bad news, good scans and bad scans.  Currently, Chris is beginning his third different treatment as each time the stupid cancer has found a way around the meds that had been temporarily effective.

MEDICAL UPDATE
Chris' latest scans in early February (2017) showed the main tumor in his right lung had grown, and that a couple new lesions decided to appear on his liver.  So after many appointments, tests, and multiple biopsies the plan now is multiple rounds of old-school chemo.  The couple is confident that this treatment will work and is excited for the good news.  They do know however that the challenge will be in maintaining the stability and dormancy of the cancer.

HOW YOU CAN HELP
Chris and Emma are asking for help so that they can be stress free about paying his medical expenses.  The co-pays are adding up, some of his treatment will be strictly out of pocket, and they'd like to consider adding some equipment in home that will assist in the treatment.  As Chris heard a colleague who was battling ALS once say: "I got sick.  I didn't get a pass," he too plans on working as much and as hard as he can, but is uncertain of what effects the chemotherapy will have on his body .  They will also incur some costs traveling to and from Boston.  Chris' medical team is now comprised of four amazing doctors; two from Mass General, and two from Stamford Hospital.

BABY CJ
Emma remains at home a couple more months to take care of their newest light and inspiration, CJ.  He fills everyday with happiness for them and seems to magically remove cancer from their lives.  Chris plans to pay for CJ and his friends to have a limo for their prom, and mom and dad are even more excited to see him put on a Stamford Legion uniform someday.  They are committed to winning vs. cancer, seeing their future, and making it a reality.
