Help keep Chris Jarosz’s legacy alive!

Donation protected
Early a.m. on May 24th, a mighty force for good was swept out of my life. My dad, Chris Jarosz, the Pirate, Poet, and Prince of Sacramento culinary arts and culture, passed away.

His boundless energy and optimism, which fueled the creative engines of Broderick Roadhouse, Anonimo Pizza and more than a handful of special restaurant experiences over the years, will be dearly missed. His compassionate and humble service to help the community, inspirational support and advocacy for the arts, and thoughtful leadership at the California Restaurant Association will be dearly missed. Mostly, the depths of his love and care for his family cannot be replaced.

My sister and I ask for your support in keeping alive the aspirations of all that Chris gave to us in Sacramento and beyond; your contributions directly impact his family, his legacy and those who continue to serve the community.

As Covid hit, he gave us this message: “Tough times didn’t break us, they made us.”

Fierce and flawed, authentic, humble and proud.

My dad, the Pirate, the Poet and Prince will remain a shining light- he has passed the torch to us.
