Journey to Professional Golf

Aloha,

I am Chris Shimomura(28) from Lahaina, Maui. From a young age, playing professional golf at the highest level has been a dream of mine. Working my way through junior, high school, college golf and the countless hours of hard work and practice on and off the course I have only seen my love and skill of the game grow. In the past year I have teamed up with Chris Armanini, PGA, to help further my game. Being that he's TPI(Titleist Performance Institute) certified and a great instructor we have spent time on the golf game as well as getting my body into playing shape. I have seen great strides of improvement with the work that I have put in with him. 

After playing professionally on Maui and within the state of Hawaii the past few years post a successful college career, I want to test my golf game against the worlds best, and playing on tour is something I strive to work toward. For the remainder of the year I will be playing in the Mackenzie Tour Qualifying tournament as well as playing events on the Outlaw tour in Arizona going into the next year. It's only through hard work and dedication to my craft, my team, family and friends, that I will succeed in my future goals, and I humbly ask for your support.
