Vision for Kairos Creative Arts

Back in 2012 before I moved to Austin I lived in Santa Fe, NM. I remember a clear vision God gave to me of an art gallery where people would walk in and feel the presence of God. It was an amazing experience to see that but I filed it away and kept praying because I felt His stirring in the Spirit to move me to a new place-location wise. It did work out for me to move to Austin later in 2012.

So the last year or so-2015 to the present I have been writing down ideas of a creative art center that was God centered, but not really feeling like He was promoting me to go forward to secure anything. I held a mixed media workshop in January 2018 and it was totally anointed and help to light more of a passion in me for pursuing my art even more and sharing it with others. I opened each session with a prayer/meditation session and the ladies, that were my students, really got into it. Meaning the whole class including the prayer first!

A studio opened in South Austin in a place where I would really like to be-a good artist community is there. So at first I was pursuing it to share with other artists but then God brought back the idea of the creative art center. So I started praying into that and started getting confirmations from some prophetic prayers over me. So I really felt like it was time-the opportune time which is why it is called Kairos-it is the opportune time for this to happen. God connected me with a woman that has started non-profits before and she is coaching me through the process so we will be a 501c3 non-profit. 

Raising Capital  

After looking at this space -i do need to do certain things to make it hap-pen. This is a new business start up so I need capital to build walls to separate spaces for each artist, an AC/ heating unit needs to be installed, I need funds to file for the non-profit. When I do get my non-profit status I will pursue grants and donations from individuals. So I have been working for a non-profit for almost 5 years-that is no accident. So pray and if you feel God is telling you to donate to this creative God centered endeavor please do. Thank you! I have never done a GofundMe thing and have never pursued something like this but with your help & God's I can do this. It's like stepping into the abyss but I know that I am supposed to do this. Sometimes God makes a way when we feel there is no way and God has made each one of us to for a specific destiny and I feel this is my destiny to fulfill! I am very excited for what He will do with this and what He will do through me! Thank you again!

Kairos Creative Arts Center provides God centered opportunities in art and music to the community through art openings with live music, art workshops and other arts related gatherings. We provide gallery, studio and classroom space for artists and musicians in a supportive, life giving environment where they can experience the presence of God. We support adults and teens through these activities in the arts.
