Firstly, thank you so much for stopping by to find out about my appeal for funding.
So, now you're here, let me tell you what its about. Its about community without a nucleus. Its about a generation of techo-geeks who feels society is not addressing its social needs. Its about government spending in so many areas but missing opportunities to support and develop youngsters. Its seeing a problem and coming up with solutions, and that's where I have come in. I am working in conjunction with and organisation iNK Creative Agency https://www.inklabdesign.co.uk/ which runs programs to combat crime by youth engagement through design. Partnering with other organisations such as schools, the police, churches, Sounds of Praise Radio intends to offer broadcasting training, music tuition, mentoring and 24 hour social space where counselling is available for those who find it difficult to access through the conventional channels. All staff will be fully qualified and DBS checked to ensure young people are adequately supervised.
It hasn't been easy to take the route of fundraising however, there is an urgent and real need for this project to get started.
I appreciate any small donation pennies go a long way so please don't think small change is not enough.
