Help Support Christian Devlin’s Hit & Run Victim
Donation protected
On September 9th, 2023, Christian Devlin was the victim of a hit-and-run driver while riding home from work on his bicycle. He was struck from the passenger side of an unknown vehicle (2008-2016 Ford F-250, F-350 or F-450 heading north on South Carolina Secondary 992 (Burcale Road) near Ryan Lane.
The vehicle did not stop but kept going nor did they notify the authorities about the incident.
Due to the impact Christian was thrown off his bicycle. He says he thought he was going to die laying there on the ground when he trying to reach for his cell phone to call 911. The paramedics arrived and an EMT contacted me (his father) during the transport to the ER / ICU at Grand Strand Medical Center.
Christian is currently in Neuroscience ICU He has sustained great bodily injuries from the impact. 2 broken vertebrae, 6 broken ribs, broken hip, broken shoulder, lung concerns, and internal bleeding. He is in severe pain and substantially under much physical, mental and medical financial stress.
Christian still faces an ongoing medical journey at only being 19 years of age with life-changing injuries that could have been avoided.
Currently no witnesses have came forward and the authorities are still doing everything possible to find the hit-and-run vehicle driver who’s responsible for causing so much anguish for the victim and his family.
Your kindness and generosity in support of helping Christian in his time of great need is vastly appreciated. Any kind of support to alleviate his suffering can help him focus more on his road to recovery instead of him stressing and worrying himself about his medical treatment financial situation. And if that is currently beyond your means, Please help spread the word to friends of old and new, sharing this campaign on your social media channels or via email will have a significant effect.
Thank you for your time and consideration, collectively we can make a difference in Christian’s life that really hasn’t even begun. We will continue to keep you updated on Christian’s progress, and your thoughts and prayers mean the world to us.
With much gratitude,
