3 time World Figure Medalist and World Figure Hall of Fame Inductee, Christian Hendricks passed from this world to the next in the early morning hours of Sunday, March 28, 2021. Palm Sunday. Christian had been an amazing competitive skater all of his life, but it was in 2015 that Christian became a different kind of champion. After being in a wheelchair with 3 terminal illnesses, and with the encouragement and love of friends, Christian trained for and competed for the first time in years in the inaugural World Figure Championship. He medaled and went on to medal three more times at that annual event. His story was widely shared and he became an inspiration to so many worldwide. It was never about the medals for him. It was about sharing his personal campaign called the Infinite Love campaign, with the shirts emblazoned with the infinity sign. “That’s how I feel about skating, how I feel about my friends and my fans,” he said. “I’m skating the infinity sign because I do have an infinite love for skating, and this really has made me happy again.”

It is time for us to show Christian and his family our Infinite Love. This GoFundMe is to assist with travel expenses for his mother, and expenses for his funeral/memorial and for his beloved Greg and precious Bella Reena.

Christian was my dear friend. He was a friend to all he met. He had one of the purest spirits I’ve ever encountered. Please donate as quickly as possible so these funds can be sent to his family for these expenses to help ease their stress during this impossibly difficult time.
