Christian Lewandowski and Family Medical Help

A defining day in our lives 12/25/23, nothing before or after will ever be the same. My son, Christian Lewandowski, attempted suicide. He was not a troubled kid. He has a close relationship with family and friends. He was not a victim of bullying. His friends describe him as funny, smart, athletic and talented. So what happened? The best I can do to answer that is bad choices on a teenage boy living in a society that is designed to destroy life and the word of God. I don’t have all the answers, but one that I know for sure is God has big plans for Christian. Christian is fighting for his life and I will stand by his side while he recovers thanking God he is here, he is strong, he is loved, safe and well taken care of.

Those are the words of Christian’s mother, Dawn Lewandowski.

Christian was taken by ambulance to Forbes Hospital and then life flighted to Children’s Hospital on Christmas Day. He had amazing teams in every location fighting for his life! We are very grateful and appreciative for everyone that was involved in Christian’s care from the start.

Christian has overcome many odds that were definitely not in his favor! But with his family’s faith and the support and prayers from many people from all over, and his amazing medical team he is beating every obstacle thrown at him.

Christian still has a very lengthy road ahead of him. Dawn has not left his side. John and their other children have spent as much time as physically possible at Children’s Hospital supporting Christian’s journey to healing as well.

During this journey there are a lot of extra expenses that are occurring. And with John being a small business owner in our community, and trying to spend as much time as possible at the hospital with a large family anything you could spare at this time would be greatly appreciated!
