In Memory of Christian Lopez

Christian López — a beloved son, little brother, and friend.

 

On March 11th, my little brother Christian left to school and sadly didn’t return home. He was taken from us in a senseless act of violence. CPR and life-saving measures were unsuccessful.

 

Christian was born on May 17th, 2006 and changed our lives for the better. He had a heart of gold and while he was shy, he was full of life, radiated positivity, joy, and love. He was a student at Overland High School. He loved video games, the beach, cars, anime, and playing uno. His loss is an unfathomable tragedy that his loved ones and our community will struggle with for years to come.

 

Anything helps and is greatly appreciated. The proceeds will be used to help with final arrangements and to give my brother the memorial he deserves. Please help us celebrate his life. God bless you all.

Christian López — un hijo amado, un hermano pequeño y amigo.

 

El 11 de marzo, mi hermanito Christian se fue a la escuela y lamentablemente no regresó a casa. Nos lo arrebataron en un acto de violencia sin sentido. La RCP y otras medidas de salvamento no tuvieron éxito.

 

Christian nació el 17 de mayo de 2006 y cambió nuestras vidas para mejor. Tenía un corazón de oro y aunque era tímido, estaba lleno de vida, positividad, alegría y amor. Él era un estudiante en la Escuela Secundaria Overland. Amaba los videojuegos, la playa, los autos, el anime y jugar uno. Su pérdida es una tragedia insondable con la que sus seres queridos y nuestra comunidad lucharán en los años que vienen.

 

Cualquier cosa ayuda y es muy apreciada. Los ingresos se utilizarán para ayudar con los arreglos finales y para darle a mi hermano el homenaje que se merece. Ayúdanos a celebrar su vida. Que Dios los bendiga a todos.
