Christian Niezgoda Eagle Motor Works Shop Rebuild
Donation protected
Hi, my name is James Reeves and I've created this fund to help out my good friend Christian Niezgoda and his company, Eagle Motor Works. If you're at all involved in the Idaho grassroots drift community, odds are Christian is a friend of yours as well. And right now, he could use our help.
When the pre-existing shop structure on his property began to literally fall apart, Christian began to repair and rebuild a new, stronger structure from the ground up. Unfortunately, this led to an anonymous report that has since resulted in Christian encountering some complicated and unexpected legal red tape. Despite having proper engineering plans, the structure foundation — which has existed just fine on the property for years — needs to be relocated in order to comply with current city regulations.
Not only will this require Christian to undo the framing already in place, it requires a massive amount of concrete work and removal. Though willing to comply with all city requirements, the unexpected financial and time-related cost to do so is crippling. As a professional mechanic and remote service tech, Christian's shop is integral to him making a living for his family. And let's be honest, Christian and the Eagle Motor Works shop has helped many of us keep our cars off jack stands and out on the track where they belong.
Along with his high level of mechanical skill, Christian has been a dedicated advocate that has helped foster a safe, inclusive and positive drift scene around Idaho and the Pacific Northwest. He is always willing to give advice or offer his skills to anyone who asks. When I first got into drifting, it was Christian and his group of friends that welcomed me with open arms, indulged my million beginner questions and helped me build a solid car that consistently rips. And I know I'm not alone. Christian has always opened his literal and metaphorical shop doors for us. Let's try and help repay the favor and get our boy back on track. Literally.
All proceeds from this GoFundMe will directly benefit Christian. They will be used specifically to lay a new foundation in the new, approved location, rent proper equipment, and other construction-related expenses. There is no donation too small, everything helps. If you are unable to donate at this time, sharing the GoFundMe is appreciated.
