Christian with quadriplegic cerebral palsy

Christian's story: Christian Paul is a little boy diagnosed with spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy. Quadriplegia is the most severe form of cerebral palsy because it affects so many areas of the body. Children with spastic quadriplegia cerebral palsy like Christian need lifetime support and treatment as they cannot walk, and have multiple associated conditions like seizures. Christian has been admitted to the hospital multiple times a year in the last eleven years. He's in and out of the hospital for a number of treatments like physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and medications to treat secondary associated conditions like epilepsy.

 

Christian and his family live in Manila. Funds will go to pay for current costs of care, maintenance and hospital bills.
