Christie McGuire Memorial Fund

Our beautiful wife, mother, and friend, Christie Lesan McGuire, suddenly and unexpectedly passed away overnight on February 11, 2023.
Christie was loved by all who knew her. She had an infectious smile and bright presence that lit up the room. She made everyone who crossed her path feel welcomed and comfortable regardless of the circumstance. She knew how to have fun and not take herself too seriously. She was kind, generous, loving God and others, well. She was extremely creative and resourceful, active in homeschooling, sewing, and other communities. She was an active member of her local church and enjoyed serving in various community charity projects. She loved, loved, loved being the devoted wife to Scott, and mother to Caitlynn, Natalie, Emma, Luke, and her two sons in heaven, Nathan and Jack. She treasured her family.
...THE GRIEF IS GREAT BECAUSE THE LOVE IS GREAT...
The saying, "those are big shoes to fill"...does not apply here, because no one can fill Christie's shoes in any capacity. Her love and relationship with each person reading this was as unique and personal as she was. Christie will be missed not only by her family but by everyone whose life she touched.
To honor Christie's memory, we are setting up this GoFundMe to help the McGuire family with the immediate costs of funeral arrangements. We are also looking to raise funds to provide childcare for 16-month-old Luke and 2.5-year-old Emma.
Scott just started a new job one month ago. Please keep him and the girls in prayer as they navigate all the tough decisions while mourning their devastating loss.
Celebration of Life service is still being planned. Tentative date is set for 3/3/2023 in Knoxville, TN. We will update you with more information as it comes.
