Christina and Cassidy

Hi everyone - my name is Olivia, and I am raising money for my dear friend Christina Carter and her precious new baby, Cassidy.

Christina went into labor at 23 weeks. The doctors were unable to stop or slow the labor process. Christina had an emergency c-section on January 5. Cassidy was placed in the NICU and Christina was released the next day. Days later, Christina was still experiencing tremendous pain following the c-section. Her incision turned out to be infected from within her abdomen, and she had to undergo emergency surgery. Her lungs were collapsing from the infection, but the surgery was successful. She had to be on a ventilator for a few days, and she is still currently in the hospital. She will also visit a rehabilitation center after leaving the hospital.

Both Christina and Cassidy are slowly progressing along and hanging in there. Christina had just started a new job in a new state, and she is not even on insurance yet. So I need your help. Please consider supporting Christina and her family during this difficult time. She and her family have been through so much this year already, and I don’t want the financial burden of hospital stays to add to their load. Any amount helps.
