Christina Currier-Sager, born on March 19, 1977, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday May 5, 2022. The exact cause is pending autopsy results, but she had a long-standing health issue that is presumed to be a contributing factor. She is survived by her husband Tyson and her 4 kids Noah, Dillon, Jordyn, and Carter, along with a large extended family and friends too numerous to count.

Chrissie's influence extended well beyond her "bio" family. For over 20 years, Chrissie owned and operated Big Stars Childcare, where she specialized in caring for children whose parents worked non-traditional hours. Think doctors, nurses, and first responders. These children became part of the family, often joining us at holidays, birthdays, and other gatherings. Chrissie's home was the place where her children's friends gathered. She treated them as her own, and most called her "mom".

Given the unexpected nature of Chrissie's passing, we are raising money to assist with funeral expenses and funds to assist the family with daily living expenses while they process their grief.

A quote from her niece Katelyn sums it up best: When hearing the news of Chrissie's passing, her son, Ryder, (Chrissie's great-nephew) said, "Man, she sure was a good Tete," and that she was.
