Christina H's Medical and Day-to-Day Expenses

If you have been following along with Christina (Chris) H's posts on Facebook, you are aware that our dear friend is facing her most challenging mountain climb yet with her health. She has been diagnosed with small-cell carcinoma lung cancer. It is a rare small-cell neuroendocrine (or carcinoid) tumor on her left bronchus, impacting her left lung, and has now metastasized. Through this journey, she has been so vulnerable, brave, and transparent with her experience and emotions. We all know her to be the strongest, fearless, and selfless giver. Now is the time she needs her friends in a big way.

As a travel RN, Christina does not have access to short or long-term disability and was denied state assistance as well. She has taken a leave of absence from work and does not know when she might be able to return to work. As you can imagine, finances have been tight with medical expenses/bills and just day-to-day expenses without a steady paycheck or any kind of assistance/disability.

Many of you have reached out and asked how you can help or be of support to her during this journey. Chris is humbled to be in this position and is immensely grateful for any financial support and help from her friends and community. She wishes you all to know that she will always have your backs and very much appreciates that you are willing to have hers during this time.
