Hi, my name is Karen Testa, a coach with Bloomfield Soccer Club.

As many of you may know Bloomfield lost a beautiful soul back in September 2012. Christina Lembo was a vibrant, loving, talented, caring and beloved member of the Bloomfield community. She was a keen soccer and softball player. Christina was part of the Bloomfield travel soccer program and played in high school.

As anyone who knew her will testify, Christina was an inspirational human, she was caring, compassionate, and courageous. Her love for her friends and family was obvious, her belief and compassion for those less fortunate was empowering. Her hustle in soccer was contagious. Often the first to arrive at practice, and always the last to leave she would always give her best effort in practice, at games and in life.

We are fundraising for a commemorative tree and bench to be placed at Lion Gate park, Bloomfield in her name. A place where the Bloomfield community can continue to remember her and honor her legacy.
