Christina Morriss

**UPDATE - thank you to everyone for all the generosity and the incredibly kind words shared. We are beyond grateful. We’ll be able to give Christina the best send off and have somewhere to go so she will always be remembered. We would like to pass on remaining donations to the Crohn’s and Colitis UK charity as we know this was a charity and community close to Christina’s heart and helped her through these last few years.

In April 2022 Christina was diagnosed with Crohn’s Colitis unfortunately after trialing different medications and various hospital admissions she never entered remission.

In February 2024 Christina opted to have surgery to regain her quality of life. Her surgery was successful but during her immediate recovery there were some complications and she sadly passed away.

Christina was a daughter, sister, Auntie and friend to so many. Everyone who knew Christina knew how strong-minded, caring, loyal & loving she was.

Christina had a positive mindset until the end, she loved life, had an endless social battery and always looking to make memories with the people that she loved. Since her illness the things she loved to do became more and more difficult. She was determined to turn this around and get back to herself this year.

As a family we know how loved and missed Christina will be and we want to make sure she has the send off that she deserves (we know she’ll be judging!)
