Christina's Last Hope: Help Get Her Life Back

Imagine living each minute of every day with excruciating pain, the sensation that your limbs are being set on fire, your bones are being crushed and a feeling of being stabbed and electrocuted constantly.
This is my daughter, Christina Kermezian’s everyday nightmare!
On Christmas Day 2016, Christina, 21 years old, unexpectedly developed extreme pain in her left hand. Within a few days, the pain quickly radiated into her arm and shoulder. One year later, the pain extended into her right knee and foot.
Christina can no longer move most of her body as she has lost function in her left arm and right leg leaving her bedridden most days. The slightest touch to her skin, bright lights and loud noises are unbearable, and cause her pain to escalate. She has had to quit school and work, can no longer socialize with her friends and is living a very isolated life. Due to her medical condition, she is unable to properly dress, sleep, eat and bathe.
Complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), also known as the “Suicide Disease” is a neurological debilitating pain condition. CRPS is caused by damage or malfunction of the central nervous system. It results in bone loss, muscle atrophy and permanent disability. It is recognized as the most painful condition on the McGill Pain Index surpassing cancer, amputation and childbearing. CRPS is rated as the highest medical pain known to mankind.

We have exhausted all medical and alternative medicine venues for effective treatments for Christina but after extensive consultations with medical professionals, we are left with no recourse with which to help our daughter.
We are now seeking help outside of Canada. After extensive research, we have found the Neurological Relief Clinic in Fayette, Arkansas. This clinic focuses on restoring the balance of the central nervous system which can help the body to heal from within. The care given at the Neurological Relief Clinic utilizes functional medicine, quantum neurology, and neuromuscular re-education. Some other treatments that are offered outside of Canada include ketamine coma, neridronic acid neuro modulation. Christina is in desperate need of physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT) and counseling which have all been denied to her. PT and OT are needed to keep the painful limbs moving, improve blood flow and improve strength and function. Counseling is also required because people with CRPS often develop depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorders which can heighten the perception of pain and make rehabilitation more difficult.
As a family, this has been the most difficult experience we have ever had to live through. We are helpless and powerless as we watch Christina cry in pain for hours without any relief and not being able to help her.
Christina is willing to try anything to help her current condition which is deteriorating rapidly. She has lost all hope for a better life!
PLEASE, let’s help Christina get her life back. Your financial support will go a long way in helping Christina fight her battle with CRPS. Your financial gift will be applied to the transportation costs to and from the Neurological Relief Clinic in Fayette, Arkansas, consultations with the medical professionals, battery of tests and examinations, treatments, medications, hospital room, meals, living expenses, medical equipment and miscellaneous unexpected expenses.
We would like to thank you for all your support. Any sort of contribution will go along way in helping my daughter get her life back.
