Christina's Abseil in support of Spina Bifida
I am braving the 131ft abseil down the Aberdeen King's tower on the 25th May this year (2024)!
This is to raise funds for Scottish Spina Bifida Association (Registered Scottish Charity No SC013328). I am able to do this through an event I have registered for via facebook: https://facebook.com/events/s/aberdeen-kings-tower-abseil-sa/857715919028651/
Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus is a type of neural defect leading to defects in the spinal cord and bones of the spine (vertebrae). Most people with Spina Bifida will undergo surgery, but due to damage to the nervous system will have symptoms that can include: weakness or total paralysis of the legs,
bowel incontinence and urinary incontinence, loss of skin sensation in the legs and around the bottom – the child is unable to feel hot or cold, which can lead to accidental injury.
Making a donation helps this association provide a lifetime commitment of support. Plese donate if you can xx Thank you for all of your support! xx
