Christina’s Battle with Cancer

The Germain Hyundai family wanted to start a GoFundme for Christina Rose, the daughter of Shawn Rose who is a salesman at our store. Christina was diagnosed with Melanoma Cancer in April 2019. She had a few spots removed (a large one on her back and a couple lymph nodes under her armpit) and was doing well after that. Then in October 2019 the cancer was back and had spread. At that time nodules had developed in her lungs and bones. She was having a very hard time walking very far, eating and it hurt to lay on her side.

Then a couple of weeks ago, Christina had a reaction to an over the counter medicine and decided it was best to visit the doctor. They scheduled a MRI and Christina found out the cancer had spread to her brain, there were at least 38 new lesions formed. This was a shock to her and the entire family, because of this finding, doctors scheduled to have brain surgery on September 15th. Surgery went well and doctors were able to remove 3 tumors, one the size of a plum, the other the size of a golf ball and the last one removed was near the large one and was bleeding.

This is only the beginning of a long journey with Christina and her family. As both of her parents, Shawn and Anita have taken off work to be with Christina to give her as much love and support that she needs. The Hyundai family wanted to try and lift some of the stress off of the family with any expenses. We will never be able to imagine what the Rose family is going through but we want to try and help in any way we can!
