Christina's Fearless Journey!
Donation protected
Hello,
We work with Christina and are raising funds to help with Christina's medical and living expenses. Christina wrote the following update for us to share with others that may like to help out.
I had just taken over the assembly department in 2016 and was diagnosed with Invasive ductal carcinoma of right breast, stage 4 and adenopathy (lymph node cancer). I was out most of the year. Atter surgery and recovering, the Drs said that they could not remove all of the cancer since it was in my lymph nodes, and you need those to live. Their best prognosis was about 5 years. I have beat the odds and made it 6 years.
Came back to work as part of the HR team and set up a training program for new operators. When I was finally strong enough, I went back to my original position of Production Manager Assembly in 2018. The Assembly team has been the greatest support group anyone could ask for. In 2021, diagnosed with malignant neoplasm metastatic to right lung, bone metastases, as well as basal cell carcinoma. This time around, average life span is about 24 months. We are currently at 14 months, and everything has become harder.
Christina is an active person and enjoys being outside. She is very positive and has been fearless throughout this journey! Our goal is to cover current medical and living expenses.
Thank you for your help and support in her journey.
