Christina Wheelchair Accessible Van

Our daughter Christina has Cerebral Palsy, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Asthma, Osteoarthrosis, Seizures on a daily basics, Severe Scolisis, Lymphedema, Non-Ambulatory, Non-Verbal, uses oxygen 24/7. Christina has a history of pneumonias, history of respiratory failure, uses a bi-pap to sleep, sleeps in a special bed. Christina was not able to have surgery to correct her spine, due to every little procedure puts her into respiratory failure and ends up on life support. So she had to have a Specially made wheelchair to support her spine, it is larger than most wheelchairs. Due to all the pneumonias and her scolisis,
Christina lives with the use of only half a lung. She is fed by a feeding tube with a feeding pump, due to the fact at 12 years of age she had whooping cough for six months. She then lost her ability to swallow and lost the ability to speak the few words it took us years to teach her to speak.

Christina is  supported by a loving family who has sacraficed so much to ensure she is well taken care of and can live life to her fullest. Christina's face lights up when we take her out even to appointments. We do not get her out to often, since the van we bought years ago is without air conditioning. No air conditioning makes it unbearable for her to breath if it is to hot and the floor is starting to rust to the point you can see the road. Not only is this a concern for the fumes coming in but also the floor giving out while we are traveling with her.
We are in need of a dependable handicapped accessible van desperately for Christina's medical needs getting her to appointments, and other daily activites that are necessary for her well being. 

Christina is a full time job, we do have some nursing to help per doctors orders so I can work or rest. I work very long hours to support our family and I care for my daughter when her nurse leaves for the day. Christina loves to go the stores, we love taking her on trips but have not been able to do this for years, either my work schedule would not allow this or her health per doctors. My husband who is a veteran is also considered disabled and unable to work. So my schedule is pretty full.

Christina is our Angel, her glow in her pretty face and eyes when we take her out anywhere just melts your heart.  This is her enjoyment since she depends on others for all of her daily living needs. We are unable to finance and cannot afford to purchase for ourselves.
