Christine Adkins (wife of Lane Adkins)

On behalf of the OBR, and Cleveland Browns community...I am organizing this to help Lane Adkins.  He recently lost his wife, and soulmate (Christine), to a long battle with cancer.  Lane is a true journalist.  He has had a major role in making  the Orange and Brown Report, and the message board forums, what they are...a true "family"  that has bonded over the years. Countless friendships have evolved beyond the boards. Lane is one of the last "true journalists" that has solid relationships with players and folks in the organization.  He reports what he can,  while respecting resources and protecting the privacy of those he covers.   True journalism is an art of compassion...folks like Lane aren't  in it for the paycheck...It's about the passion.  Because of that passion, he really could use a hand up  with medical bills incurred over the last few years, and final expenses...as well as needing a few necessary ancillary  household items to carry on.   Please help by repaying the joy he has given us over the years.  $10, $20...whatever you can swing in these tough times.  It all ads up.  100% of the funds will be withdrawn by Lane and the the fund will be closed once the goal is met.
