Christine Boring was a mother of three and widower of a retired, 25-year Coast Guard veteran. She had Inclusion Body Myositis. A disease that slowly took away all of her physical abilities but never her loving and joyful spirit. Before her illness, she loved to dance to music and entertain her friends and family at her home. While she lost most of her physical abilities at the very young age of 60, she never lost her youthful love for life. If you were able to spend even 5 minutes with her on any given day, that would have been the best 5 minutes you had that day. She could make you laugh, smile, and shine without even trying. She was a devoted mother, sister, wife, Irish Catholic, and Polish princess.

Christine as a young woman.
She collected boxes and boxes of random things. You could fill a 4-bedroom house with everything she collected. However, nothing she kept could ever be sold at an auction or a garage sale. To everyone outside our family, these items were worthless. However to her, and us, they were priceless memories. Pictures and poems. Letters and postcards. Figurines and keepsakes. She passed away with a heart full of love because she cherished what she had. Not what she had lost.
Christine with her two daughter's Misty and Cheryl and her son Guy, Jr.
Christine with her two sister's Marie and Gloria.
Christine wither husband Guy (deceased 4/4/18 RIP). They are together again right now in heaven (God did Christine a favor for all her good deeds and gave Guy a hall pass so they could be together).
Christine was so sweet she could make anything funny.
Christine Boring passed away on August 8th, 2018. There will be memorial services for her in Ione, California and Detroit, Michigan. Your donations will help her family arrange her memorial services, funeral costs, and other travel expenses. We thank you for your love, prayers, and best wishes as we celebrate her life.
