Christine Clark's Journey to Healing

Hello, my name is Kevin Harrow and I am raising funds on behalf of Christine Clark.

Christine Clark has been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in March of 2015. She has been thru numerous different chemotherapy treatments along with an autologous stem cell transplant and an allogeneic transplant (bone marrow transplants). Initially, each treatment and each transplant seemed to have worked but unfortunately, that was only temporary. All treatments to eradicate this lymphoma have been exhausted until she was accepted into this new trial.

Christine will be going to North Carolina for the Car-T trial on April 11, 2023. Car-T stands for Chimeric antigen receptor cell therapy. Car-T is a way to get T cells (a type of white blood immune cell) to fight cancer by changing them in the lab so they can find and destroy the cancer cells. Christine has already been to NC twice since September 2022 to collect cells for treatment. The first visit resulted in two batches that didn’t produce as needed. HOWEVER, the cells collected in the second visit were a SUCCESS!!!

On April 11th she will receive treatment to lower her current white blood cells, so they don’t fight against the “new and improved” CAR-T cells. Then she will receive the infusion of the modified cells and will stay in NC for observation. This is about a month's process. Fortunately, the lodging expenses have been covered by a donor through the trial.

I am raising money on her behalf to help with the medical expenses she has and will continue to incur.

Christine is a humble, Godly woman. In addition to what was already mentioned about her medical expenses, she also had heart surgery and this past year was hospitalized due to a clot in her lungs. You would never know because she never complains about it and doesn’t even like to talk about it. She is a perfect example of a Christian woman who has faith in our Savior Jesus. She deserves to be relieved of her financial strains while dealing with these medical issues. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated!
