On October 2, 2023, Christine passed away suddenly from a chronic heart condition. She leaves behind her son Zach and partner for many years, Michael. Both are obviously devasted by this loss.

Christine was simply a force of nature. She always spoke her mind, took no prisoners, was devoted to Zach (and loved watching him grow into a musician playing drums in a successful band - she was always by his side) and Michael (they shared so much life together), took college courses to better herself, oversaw a very popular public safety notification page sharing critical incidents to communities across Yavapai County, loved riding her motorcycle, and in that light became part of a coalition five years ago gaining adoption of a Hands-Free Ordinance by the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors. Christine loved dancing to live music with one of her favorite bands (Road One South) while also helping them raise money for youth music programs at some shows, and on and on. So many were touched by Christine during her lifetime.

Zach has requested to start a go fund me page to help with general expenses he is dealing with due to the loss of his mom along with the need to raise money for a public and later private memorial services in early December (details to follow). Additionally, Zach is committed to donating unused funds to the Operation Smile organization (https://www.operationsmile.org/) which provides financial support to those dealing with a cleft lip condition.

Please help if you can - The Road One South Band will be kicking off the fundraiser with a $200 donation. We so enjoyed Christine's dedication and spirit at our shows for well over a decade and we hope you will help Zach out with your support.
