PRIVATE INVESTIGATION
It's time to know what happened to CHRISTINE EASTIN! (watch news story by clicking here )
Family and close friends have asked questions and gathered information piece by piece for nearly 50 years - now it’s time for answers!
My sister Christine Marie Eastin vanished from a Hayward, California car wash on January 18, 1971, just two weeks after her 19th birthday.
Chris had borrowed her ex-boyfriend’s car that night and planned to wash it at a self-serve car wash at 25400 Mission Blvd. before returning it to him at his workplace (Jack in the Box). The car was found at the car wash, and she’s been missing ever since.
She was unaccounted for less than 2 hours, yet her disappearance has never been resolved.
Chris, a Sunset High School graduate and Chabot College student, was happy and about to start a new job the next day. She had plans for her future and certainly was not a runaway. She was my only sibling.
Donations will fund a new, comprehensive effort. Contact investigative team at [phone redacted]. Any funds beyond the cost of the investigation will go toward flyers and other expenses, and possibly to enhance the existing reward established by the State of California in 2005.
Where previous efforts have failed, we hope this private investigation will dig deep and finally shed light on Christine’s demise. Not knowing what really happened to her; not being able to bring resolution to her life story has been and still is distressing to her family and friends – all who loved her. Thank you for reading this, and whether or not you donate, would you please share it via social media or email?
With hope in my heart,
Victoria Eastin Cordova, sister of Christine
