Christine Longaker

Our friend and sangha member Christine Longaker needs our help. She has just had surgery on her spine to deal with the effects of a streptococcus infection. She is still in acute and severe pain and won’t be able to return to work while she’s undergoing intensive antibiotic treatment for at least three months. Christine is in urgent need of financial help since she cannot cover her living expenses on her small pension alone. Her biggest concern is to find the strength to finish her book on self-compassion.

We’re aiming to raise $8,000 on her behalf.
