Christmas Day Fire in Trenton, NJ
Donation protected
At approximately 4am on Christmas morning, four men threw Molotov cocktails at 221 Rusling Street in Trenton, NJ. The men stood there for about 3 minutes and watched the home ingulf in flames before leaving the scene. Two people in that home lost their lives on Christmas morning. The fire quickly spread to the four adjacent row homes. One of the homes was a rental property that was owned by my boyfriend, Ryley. His home had a family of 6 living in it, 4 of them being young children. They were woken up to flames taking over their home and quickly gathered what they could and vacated the home. His tenant, Stephanie, and her family lost everything. Anything that wasn't burned up was soaked and ruined when the fire department was trying to put out the fire. Ryley paid for Stephanie and her family to stay in a hotel for Christmas and the next day. They had no money, so he gave her their security deposit back for clothes and food. The American Red Cross was on scene and gave Stephanie $900 to help her over the next few days. Unfortunately, $900 will not get her very far with a family of 6. Ryley and I have helped all that we can financially but this family needs more assistance. Please help us by sharing this post or donating, if you can, to help Stephanie's family. We can not thank you enough.
