Bringing Joy to Children in Oruro, Bolivia

I’m raising funds to support children in the small communities, rural areas, and villages in Oruro, Bolivia, and I’d love for you to join me in making a difference. Since 2019, I’ve traveled back to Bolivia each Christmas, bringing gifts and smiles to children in small communities. Each year, we’ve expanded our reach—in MACHUA (La Paz) alone, we’ve connected with over 200 children who have limited access to education and resources. Our goal is simple: to ensure these children experience joy, warmth, and the universal right to a happy childhood.

Who we are?

My name is Luis, a proud Bolivian and football enthusiast currently living in London. Through this journey, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges faced by communities like Machua, north of La Paz, which have been deeply affected by political upheaval and poverty. In 2019, the social and economic strains hit especially hard, leaving many families in dire need. That challenging time only fueled our commitment to bring moments of happiness to these children when they need it most. ❤️

Why This Matters to Me

Growing up wasn’t easy. My father left when I was a child, and my mother became everything for us—my mother, father, sister, and brother. She is my hero. Inspired by her strength, I’m committed to giving back to my homeland and sharing hope with children who are facing their own struggles. ❤️

Our 2025 Goal: £2,025

For January 2025, and hopefully Christmas 2024, we’re planning a series of events where children will receive gifts, educational supplies, food, and more. We’ll also host football tournaments for kids, children and youth, I organize everything myself from London, sending funds and overseeing the events with love and dedication but this time I'll have the chance to be there in person one more time. Our target of £2,025 (18,390 Pesos Bolivianos) will cover essentials like food, clothing, first aid, and many more.

Thanks to your generosity at our charity events, we’re excited to bring joy and essentials to vulnerable families and children in Bolivia this holiday season. Here’s how every donation will be put to good use:

£800 Christmas baskets: We’ll be buying thoughtful gifts to make this season special for children who might not otherwise receive anything. Each gift is selected with love, adding a touch of magic to their holiday.
£100 Chocolatada: We'll be making a massive pot of hot chocolate to serve every single child in the communities.
£750 Essential Foods for vulnerable families Your contributions will help us provide nutritious food packages, making sure that families have what they need to enjoy a holiday meal together.
£300 Toys for Kids: Every child deserves a chance to play and dream, so we’re providing toys that bring smiles, encourage creativity, and give children a moment of joy.
£300 Youth Football Tournaments: Organizing football events for kids aged 5 to 12. Most of these children work every day throughout the year and rarely get the chance to experience the joys of childhood
