Christmas for the least fortunate and Santa
Donation protected
We are Donna O'brien and Sandra Mccandlish, we are two people who want to make a difference in our community so we formed GIVE-The people’s charity hub and set up Westgate neighbourhood watch, between the two we want to bring a Christmas experience to as many children on Christmas eve as we can. As visits to santa are cancelled we want to bring santa to your street on a decorated float to wave and say hi to your children. We have two journeys to make with two Santa's and two floats to 100 streets. We want to provide 100 free wrapped presents and a letter from santa himself. Cost £550
We will also be putting together 25 Christmas Dinner hampers for the least fortunate families in our community. We are hoping to link with the food bank in order to reach the right people. Cost £500
We are also looking to erect a 10 foot communal Christmas tree in the heart of Westgate that everyone in the community can donate a bauble, homemade or baught to hang from it. Cost £500
We are looking for £1500 to cover costs for all these ventures.
If you can help no matter how small or large the donation we would be more than grateful.
Should we raise more than we asked for we will upgrade the event or add to the people we can reach with hampers. If we cannot raise enough money all donations will be put together to at least do one or more of the projects.
Thank you in advance.
