Christmas for Low-Income Families (kids, seniors & unhoused)

At Toronto Cares, we believe in supporting marginalized communities minds, bodies, & spirits.

Each year we provide Holiday toys to low-income children, prioritizing those with disabilities, mental health challenges, and living in shelters. In 2023, we distributed gifts to over 1000 kids.

November 2023, we also started our "Christmas for Seniors" program, distributing over 120 gifts to low-income seniors, mostly those who have transitioned from shelters in the last year.

This year, in 2024, we're launching a new holiday pilot program, providing gifts to the unhoused population at Dufferin Grove Park.
